The Sophos 1GbE Copper Transceiver connects a compatible SFP port over RJ-45 copper cabling. It operates with 1000Base-T at a link speed of 1 GbE. Suitable for using a compatible SFP slot with an existing copper cable run.

Before selecting a transceiver, check its approval for the specific firewall or switch model. The remote endpoint and copper cable must also match the connection. The achievable distance depends on the installed cabling and its characteristics.

Port and installation guidance is available in the Sophos Switch operating instructions. For use in a firewall, approval for that firewall model must be checked separately.
