Sophos 5G Module – XGS 118(w)/128(w)/138

The second-generation Sophos 5G module adds cellular WAN to your XGS 118, 118w, 128, 128w or 138. It suits sites without suitable fixed-line access or requiring an additional internet connection as a configured backup.

The generation 2 version differs from the 5G module for XGS 116(w), 126(w) and 136(w). Sophos requires at least SFOS 20 MR2 for generation 2 firewalls; use a version currently supported for your model.

Operation requires a suitable SIM card, data plan and your mobile provider’s settings. Actual speed and availability depend on the network and reception at the site. Do not insert or remove the module while running: switch off the firewall for installation, then configure Cellular WAN and WWAN1.
